Dan Fleischmann

Dan is passionate about investing in and advising early-stage technology companies that are reshaping food consumption and hospitality to create stronger and more equitable communities.
Prior to founding Timber Grove Ventures, Dan was an executive at Kitchen Fund, a leading restaurant and foodtech venture capital firm, where he played a pivotal role in rapidly growing assets under management and scaling the team during his nearly six-year tenure. His background includes advising on complex M&A and capital market transactions for founder-backed and Fortune 500 companies at leading institutions such as Moelis & Company, RBC Capital Markets, and Ernst & Young.
One of Dan's early successes was investing in and advising Loft Orbital, a space infrastructure company. The company has since raised $170+ million in venture funding and leverages its technology to address critical global challenges, including food supply, climate change, and defense.
Dan's expertise in foodtech has earned him recognition in top-tier business and industry publications, including The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, The Washington Post, and more.

Jeff is passionate about investing in and supporting high growth startups that are transforming the way we build, operate, and utilize commercial real estate.
Prior to founding Timber Grove Ventures, Jeff was an executive at CIM Group, a $30Bn AUM real estate owner, operator, lender, and developer. While at CIM Group, Jeff co-led west coast originations efforts and managed a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of real estate equity and credit investments across a wide range of asset classes and geographies. Jeff is also an investor in and board observer for Peek, an end-to-end digital touring and AI solution for leasing.
Prior to CIM Group, Jeff executed leveraged buyout and sponsor finance transactions while working in the leveraged finance investment banking groups at RBC Capital Markets and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.
An entrepreneur at heart, Jeff has pursued a number of other interesting ventures over the years including throwing hip hop concerts featuring Wiz Khalifa, Young Jeezy, and Mac Miller, and building a mobile app while at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
